I’m a simple person who always bets on a lifelong education, I prefer doing rather than endlessly speaking without doing at all.
What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?
People are dreaming of getting ratings like “Forbes 30 under 30”, but it’s totally incorrect. Not the thing people could be proud of. That is a root cause of useless products.
If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?
Do everything quicker! Nowadays, reflecting, I see how many advances I passed because core activities took too much of my energy and time.
What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?
I don’t run for loud headlines, I’m just working. Sounds strange, but the info-sphere nowadays is overloaded with bravado and lies in the form of beautiful presentations and landing pages. I do not do it at all.
What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?
Personal efficiency, quick turning between tasks and attention to details. Early to bed and early to rise. Every day I dedicate time to my family.
Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?
Just one simple thing influences us at our most – we are doing things people really need, and doing them better than anybody else could.
Where do you see your business in five years?
You will find it strange, but at the same place as now. Whilst hundreds of IT-companies do the layoffs and pass over bankruptcy, we’re hiring and improving.
What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?
Driving software evolution in the right way, making it cheaper and quicker to deploy & integrate. Nowadays, the world changes much quicker than ever before.
Talk to us about your biggest success story so far?
My success is my family, my partners & reputation. All companies, I have started, exist now, and all them to improve in financial results every year.
All partners, I have started to work with, are still my partners with whom we doing a great job for the world. That is exactly, what I treat as real endless success.
How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?
We have been working more than 10 years so far, and had a number of booths – so our targeted audience mostly knows us.
We’re registered as a supplier within Dell, Huawei and other majors. When somebody needs personal cloud functionality, usually our contacts are already on the customer’s table.
What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?
Be pragmatic, stay away from FOMO and YOLO. Modern IT industry is really overheated, all obvious niches are already occupied, no easy money here anymore. Look for a business on the edge of off-line and on-line.
And finally, what do you hope the future brings both you personally, and your business?
A knowledge and skills, I could pass to my children. It should be a great addition to their universities.
