Shafi Ullah of Click Deer.

Tell us about yourself?

I’m Shafi Ullah, the CEO and founder of ClickDeer. I started my career as a social media marketer in 2018, but quickly found that my passion was in SEO. I love SEO, and perhaps this is why it became my passion and business too.

So finally I launched my SEO agency in 2019. I started my business with a small budget but a lot of passion.

I knew that if I provide quality service to the clients, they will come back again and again. This strategy helped me grow my business quickly and become a successful SEO agency in just few years.

What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?

There are two main misconceptions. The first is that startups are not for everyone. This is a myth because anyone with an idea can be successful and build something great. The second is that it’s easy to get funding for your startup.

In fact, it’s one of the hardest things to do—especially when you don’t have any experience or network in the industry. But if you have a skill to monetize ( Like me, I am SEO expert) then it becomes much more easier to avail funds and keep your business running smoothly.

If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?

I would tell myself to not worry so much. I feel like a lot of my anxiety comes from the pressure I put on myself to be perfect at everything all the time, which is impossible and unhealthy! so keep doing what you love the most in a natural way.

What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?

The reason I stand out as an entrepreneur is because I am very passionate about what I do. As a business owner, I have to be willing to put in the long hours and work hard.

What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?

I’ve learned to focus on one thing at a time, and not let other things distract me from what I’m supposed to be doing. This has helped me get more done in less time.

Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?

My Vision is to make SEO quantifying for businesses.

Our SEO reports do not only show rank tracking to our clients, instead, they tell the clients, the REAL CONVERSIONS, THE REAL ORGANIC TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENTS, And this also entices our clients to spend even more.

This is what I call “SEO quantifying”. We want to be able to tell our clients how much money they can make with their SEO campaign, and not just rank tracking.

Where do you see your business in five years?

I want To make it a 7 figure SEO agency. I want to be the biggest and best SEO agency in the USA and Pakistan.

What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?

The biggest challenge will be getting clients to understand the value of SEO and digital marketing.

Most people think it’s just putting some keywords on their website and then waiting for Google to send them customers.

The reality is that there is a lot more work involved than just that, but once you explain it to them they usually get it.

Talk to us about your biggest success story so far?

I’d say my biggest success so far is the fact that I’ve been able to build a successful business doing what I love. It has allowed me to provide a better life for my family while also helping others do the same thing.

How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?

The majority of my clients find me through the internet (SEO). I’ve done a pretty good job of building a brand that people recognize.

But it’s always important to keep your name in front of people so they can remember who you are when they need your services.

What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?

The most important thing is to focus on what you’re passionate about. If you are passionate about the things you do and believe in them wholeheartedly, it will be much easier for others to get behind what you’re doing as well.

And finally, what do you hope the future brings both you personally, and your business?

I hope to continue to grow my business and help it become the best brand in its niche. I want to be known as a company that truly cares about their customers and how they can help them with their needs.
