Tell us about yourself?

Hello, I’m Kishan. Though I’m primarily a UI/UX Designer, I started my journey in website designing 8 years ago.

I hold a degree in computer applications. I enjoy experimenting with other verticals of design from time to time. Most of my learning comes from the internet and collaboration with other designers.

Being a creative head, mediocre programming was never my cup of tea. I was always looking for the perfect blend of technical and creative fields and that’s when I discovered my area of interest in web designing.

Since then I’ve started pursuing my passion and career in website designing. Designing to me is much more than just a source of income. It has now become a routine and an inseparable part of my life.

I am a HubSpot certified professional and a passionate UI/UX Designer with good command of product design, graphics design, online branding, SEO, SMM, and email marketing seeking a full-time position in the field of UI/UX design, where I can apply my knowledge and skills for continuous improvement for my better future. I love being in touch with thinkers/creative people.

It leads to fruitful discussions that are helpful to me certainly, and sometimes others as well. As a designer, I consider it’s essential to be aware of various perspectives.

And collecting perspectives can be difficult to do alone. From time to time, I love bouncing ideas with such people and getting their thoughts on it. Very recently, I’ve worked on speed optimization on product websites.

And I’m currently working on creating a good User Experience for websites and blogs to improve the conversion ratio.

What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?

Biggest misconception is that you can have an idea, go into a room and make the product, code, widget and people will love it. That very rarely happens.

If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?

I cannot change the past. It’s gone, but if I could, I would do below things. Go back and make it right. Make repairs. Make amends. Make peace.

Do what I had hoped to do. Take away the hurt I caused, especially to those I love so much. Think before I acted. Endure the storm. Walk away sooner from harmful people and situations.

Meet someone again for the first time and make it right. Take the chances I did not take. Do the things I was too fearful to experience. If I could go back, I would like to relive incredible moments so that I can get to experience them twice.

What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?

Being aware, having the right attitude, ready to change and keep looking at for new opportunities and possibilities is the key!

You can call it thinking outside the box or introducing innovation beyond expectation. You can also view it as making a difference or defying standards.

What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?

1. Be punctual and professional. 2. Respect and achieve deadlines. 3. Proactively learn skills. 4. Anticipate needs. 5. Take initiative on projects.

Entrepreneurship doesn’t have an end destination because the world is constantly changing.

For me, I haven’t started on any business endeavour big enough for my entrepreneurship portfolio. I’m only at the experimenting stage with my art sales haha. Still figuring it out.

I can only plan and forecast, but until I actually get things moving, I can’t give a sound answer to that.

What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?

Dealing with an angry customer or client and Losing data or work related to a project and having to redo it under a tight deadline

Talk to us about your biggest success story so far?

My strength is Problem Solving As well as the cuteness aspect of design, it’s good to enjoy the problem-solving side too. As a designer, i think logistically and critically to make things work.

Creativity is needed not only to produce something brilliant but also to work out how the pieces fit together and turn ideas into a finished product and that i consider success in my professional life
